Silent Studio: A Virtual Silent Writing & Creativity Group

July 30, 2026

What is Silent Studio?

Come as you are. Create in silence together.

Do you struggle to protect time for your creativity?  Have you dreamed of starting a writing practice or having fun with your creativity, but struggle to get started?

Silent Studio is a virtual creativity group where writers and creatives come together and work silently, side by side, for an hour. No pressure, no performance, just space to create.

What You Can Work on During Silent Studio

You can work on whatever project you choose:

  • Start a journaling practice or use the Guided Journal I offer
  • Do your morning pages, at any time of day that you choose
  • Try expressive writing, channeling your feelings into healing
  • Write a blog, a manuscript, a book
  • Paint and let your imagination lead the way
  • Sketch or draw
  • Craft or collage
  • Pull out washi tape, markers, stickers, colored pens

This virtual creative group is open to all. The only requirement is that you come and work silently on whatever you choose.

The format of the group is simple. We show up on Zoom and start with a brief meditation. Then we silently write and create together for an hour.

Why This Virtual Creative group is neurodivergent and HSP-friendly

There is no pressure to interact, no forced engagement. You can wave hello to the fellow creatives (or not), but you won’t have to speak or engage. You can even leave your camera off during the group.

There’s no judgment. Come and take what you need.

There is no requirement to perform or explain your process. Just show up and create alongside others in a quiet, low-pressure space.

Schedule: Silent Studio Meets 3x a Week

Silent Studio meets three times per week, one hour each time.

You can show up any time during the hour and stay as long as you want. This is a no pressure offering where you can take what you need and leave the rest.

Silent Studio meets Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

  • Monday 7:00pm (Eastern)
  • Wednesday 1:00pm (Eastern)
  • Friday 10:00am (Eastern)

You can attend as many or as little sessions as your schedule allows each month.

How Silent Studio Works

  • At the beginning of the month, you will receive a Zoom link for each studio session (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
  • You can show up at any time during the hour, for as long or as little as you like.
  • Each session will start with a brief meditation as we settle into the space.
  • You can work on any creative project of your choosing for the hour, silent but together.
  • In providing a nurturing space for neurodivergence, you can turn your camera on or leave it off. Whichever you prefer!
  • You can attend all the sessions or one session a month, whatever works for your schedule.

Why Silent Studio Works (The Psychology of Consistency & The Inner Critic)

Most of us have an inner critic that talks us out of creative projects, that convinces us that we aren’t “real” writers or artists.

When we listen to the critic, we silence the longings of our hearts and shove our dreams aside.

Silent Studio is designed to build consistency with your inner creative and establish trust. When we show up for an hour, we are making a commitment with ourself.

All it takes is an hour to make something!

About Your Guide, Dr. Christine Sparacino

I have been where you are, with a dream of writing a book but talking myself out of it. My schedule was too full for an extra commitment.

So I started slow, just an hour three times a week. A time to silence the critic and write. What started small grew into a consistent habit and a year of essays.

With more than 25 years experience in mental health, I know how the inner critic shows up and keeps us small and silent.

Cost & How to Join Silent Studio

The cost is $49 per month. Join Silent Studio on Substack for more information.

The Silent Studio will start September 1st with our first session starting Wednesday 9/2/26.
